In the Oven
Baking with Smartware is a breeze. Just follow the basic instructions below for wonderful results.
Be sure to check out the recipes included in this guide. They provide delicious suggestions for how to use your Smartware bakeware to bake wonderful creations.
To get the best results from your Smartware bakeware, just follow these easy instructions:
- Do not use bakeware in oven temperatures over 500° Fahrenheit.
- Always use oven mitts when inserting or removing bakeware from oven.
- Always place molds on baking trays (such as metal cookie sheets) for easy positioning and removal from the oven.
- Be sure to evenly spread and distribute batter in the bakeware.
- Remove the bakeware from oven and allow baked goods to cool completely before removing from the mold.
- Bakeware should be cool to the touch after approximately 2 minutes of cooling.
- To remove cake, muffins or baked goods from the bakeware, invert and apply pressure to the bottom while carefully peeling back or twisting bakeware.
- Never use sharp metal tools to remove food from the bakeware or cut food in the bakeware.
- Never use bakeware on direct heat, grills, stovetops, or hot plates.
In the Microwave
Another wonderful feature of Smartware bakeware is that you can use it in the microwave!
Just remember to follow these simple instructions whenever using your bakeware in the microwave:
- Place bakeware directly in the center of the microwave oven or on the turntable.
- Always use oven mitts when removing bakeware from oven.
- Be sure to evenly spread and distribute batter in the bakeware.
- Remove the bakeware from oven and allow baked goods to cool completely before removing from the mold.
- Bakeware should be cool to the touch after approximately 2 minutes of cooling.

In the Freezer
Truly, one of the most convenient and amazing features of your Smartware bakeware is that can go from 60°F below zero to almost 500°F above without warping, melting or flaking. So you can literally take it from the oven to the freezer and back to the oven in the same pan without any worries. Just follow the simple instructions below for best results:
- Pour batter in the bakeware evenly and place in the freezer on a level surface.
- Frozen batter can go straight from freezer to oven or microwave for defrosting or baking.
- Always cover with foil or film when storing in the freezer.
